I am a professional Designer but against good advice I did the final year of a Fine art degree at this university in 2005-6 but decided against doing further study here due to the dubious staff-ethics, and worryingly vulnerable students id experienced...

On a superficial level the Docklands campus looks an interesting building but a better example of a fascard is hard to imagin.
Jets at the next door city airport thunder in all day long...The work areas provided are very noisy, the alternative for students to work in their diggs is also 'not happening' as these are tiny..staff are quite rude and condescenting towards less able students...and at the time of my degree show it was almost impossible to find a technician so if you really want to make a go of things at UEL be prepared to do the staffs jobs for them...

ie...Avoid UEL at ALL costs!
