Advantages: dining/library and teaching is first class

Disadvantages: on the top of a hill and its jolly windy

The University of Kent at Canterbury is a very good univeristy, it has a reputation of delivering first class teaching.

I am back there as a post grad on an MSc course - biosciences/history.

The campus itself is pretty large with a good number of eating and drinking places. I doubt anyone would go hungry there.

There is a direct link with the buses from the town centre to the uni also that run very regularly, round about every 5 minutes - till very late.

The academic library is excellent, just about every book or journal you'll ever need is housed there. The security for access to the library is very good also. Staffing on the turnstiles etc.

I dont know about the nightlife as I am a mature student and go home after my lectures, so have noexperience of the party scene atthe uni but I imagine its as good as any.

Certainly recommend this uni - having been there for undergrad studies 8 yrs ago and back again for post grad studies.

Summary: top uni - top quality
