Advantages: Great facilities, location, students

Disadvantages: Some buildings are ugly

Leeds uni is excellent - i would highly recommend. Spent three years there doing business and psychology; i found the campus excellent, the location is five mins into town and the accomodation is ten mins the oter side. There are several bars and smaller nearby cafes for lunch and these are always busy, whether at 10am for coffee or 10pm for cheap drinks in the union then into the on-site club (which is fine for freshers year but most go into town after that). The campus is not as pretty as some others, ie: nottingham, however it is all in one place, and i feel it has excellent teaching facilities - both the psych and business building are new, modern facilities, well known academics in their feild, and particulary in the psych building, a really family feel between students and tutors. The business building also has 24hr access to the tech rooms, which is great if you want to be somehwere modern and bright and small, unlike the 24hr library which is modern also inside but huuuuge. The library is great but sometimes hard to find a "quiet spot" around exam time.... but there are lots of other places to go so this is not all bad! I loved Leeds students too - up for fun, not too posh and all ambitious! Well worth considering.
