Advantages: Friendly, Lots of Night Life and Shopping,

Disadvantages: Very difficult to navigate around

I have studied a Business Degree at Liverpool University. It is absolutely massive. It must run into hundreds of buildings and takes up a large part of the outer area of Liverpool City Centre. Parking used to be great. Sadly last year they started putting barriers up and payment meters, so you can expect to pay a parking fee each day. Many of the buildings are quite modern, others are converted Victorian Buildings including a hospital.

The staff are as a whole quite friendly. They have a great Vetinary School and the Business School is very highly recommended too.

The University itself attracts many different people from around the world. There are very few countries who aren't represented, which is great for those wanting to learn different cultures.

The Crown street area is often frequented by prostitutes as it is a Red Light Area. For the young female students I would suggest staying away. And for the male students, keep on the move, I only parked there once reading some papers before an exam, and a prostitute knocked on my window.

Summary: Good University. Very large.
