Advantages: good choice of course

Disadvantages: over crowded, busy road to cross. different location for diff campuses

Well I guess this uni lost it's rating after it took over guildhall uni and merged as London Metropolitan University. Althought the building is tall and looks trendy the class rooms are not really attracting. It looks old from inside and 3 campuses in north london (two in holloway) and the other mile apart makes it hard to commute.

What really amased me is the amount of foreign students the university takes every year. I guess it is one good thing. But then I also have a few friends who came from abroad and then decided not to study at this uni because they didn't like it. The uni refused to pay back the deposit they paid. So they were in trouble when they went to study in another one because they were lack of money. One of my hubby's friends who had this problem threatened to go to the newspapers and then got his money back.

The hall buildings are ok. some provide you with meals (once a day though). And as you would expect living in london is expensive, they are no exception.

The good thing about the location is holloway tube station is just outside.

I guess the library is overall good sized. No sports facilities on campus though.

Although some of my friends went there I don't think this is the best uni you can go to. If you have a choice you should visit the campus first and choose where you would want to study.

Oh by the way don't ever forget to carry your ID card coz you will have to queue up to get a temporary pass. Some might argue this as a security measure and I am not mentioning it in a negative way.
