Advantages: Friends, Cheap Booze, beaver las vegas!!!

Disadvantages: Too small, Accomodation isn't great, the bloody hill!!!!!!

Currrently doing my degree at Aber Uni, there are some good things and some bad things about this place!! The atmosphere is terrific even though the nightclubs, or should i say nightclub are tacky (yes, i am talking about Pier Pressure), the friendly faces and alcohol make you forget where you are. The people are good aswell. I have been fortunate to make some really good friends at uni who live in my block, and i am sure other people have found friends who mean alot to them too. The Welsh are ok, some of them don't like the English, but that is only a small minority. The football lads are the best group of people i have ever had the pleasure of drinking with, even though i don't drink that much, they are a group of top quality people.
Now the bad things in Aber, the village idiots, just like you get at any uni, but these idiots are very big so i wouldn't say it to them, but alot of people know who these people are!!! The accomodation is not as good as i have seen at other uni's, hell, i haven't even got a carpet in my room, so i had to get my own!! You also get the chance to see all the other lads' mums, i tell you what, if your friends mums look as good as my mates mums then you are in for a treat, cough Mrs Mower cough.
No, aber is not top for facilties and no aber is not the most populated place in the world, but the people who are here make it what it is. I'm glad i never went to cardiff uni, because i wouldn't have met people who mean alot to me there as i have here, rob, dave, joe, seb, gay boy jim, gay boy chris, tom, nath, mrs mower, rio, mike, mark, gaz, hoppy, steve (noone knows who he is) twig, hels bells, kez and stephie, and footy team!!! Just to name a few
