I attended the University of the West of England five years ago as a biology student, and had an absolutely fantastic time. The night life in Bristol was great, I made some fantastic friends for life, the Coldharbour Lane campus was great. We went on some absolutely wicked field trips and got into all sorts of mischief, but then thats what being a student is all about.

The campus has a good selection of eateries, and a great shop that did fantastic pasties, and an automatic pizza vending machine outside the library. it's funny what sticks in your mind!!

The only drawback was the traffic, I highly recommend cycling no matter what. They have now built a good network of cycle lanes and it is fairly safe. You have to remember it saves you time and money in Bristol.

It served me well as I hope it does for many others.
