      ~Surge protection from Belkin~
      ***********************

The Belkin E-series Surge Suppressor that I have had in use was bought to help protect a number of electrical devices from power surges, which I feel it has managed to do as I haven't found there to be any noticeable electrical surge damage to any of the items that have been plugged into it.

I feel this is a worthwhile product as it can help to protect all kinds of electrical items around the home or office. I have had no problems with the product and it has remained in good working order even with repeated use which makes me think the over all quality of the product has been good. I picked a Belkin branded product as I knew the brand already, having bought from them before and thought it was a brand I could trust. I am happy to say that I have been pleased with this purchase so far.

      ~Using the surge protector~
      ********************

I find plugging various electrical products into the range of sockets and using them is easy to do and I like the security that using a device such as this simple socket extension can offer. Each of the 4 sockets works well and give a safe and secure fixing when in use. The surge rating on this is 238 joules which doesn't mean too much to me other than that I was informed the product would be suited to the job of protecting various items such as computers, printers, tvs, game systems etc. I have found this to be the case as there hasn't been any damage I have noticed since using this device.

The short 1m power cable is just about the right length as this can be placed close to an electrical power outlet for ease of use (although some may find the cable a little too short). The simple white plastic material of the outer case looks neat and clean and the whole thing seems very durable as it has held up well over time. The surge protector came with a lifetime warranty that seemed attractive to me when I bought this, although as I have not had any problems with the product I have had no cause to test that out and so cannot fully comment on its features other than to say I do trust that should it be needed I know that its there for me.

      ~Price and rating~
      *************

I paid just under £6.50 for one of these which I feel was very good at the time of purchase as other similar products seemed to be more expensive. I feel the product has worked as it should, providing a good degree of protection from electrical surges and thus saving me further expense should any damage occur to an expensive electricial item. My rating for the product is 4 stars as I feel it has worked well and I feel I would buy from this range again in future.
