      Extremely useful travel aid

This travel plug has prooved a solid purchase for me and has already successfully worked on its travels to Hong Kong, Beijing, and Phuket Thailand. The versatility of plugs contained in a simple small design make it an essential buy for the power supply needs of the traveller. With the added addition of usb charger literally all bases are covered, allowing you to charge all added usb equipment too. It also is backwards compatible so on the top side of the plug you can not only plug your standard UK three pin plug into it, but also a multitude of other plugs. This means you can use it in this country and use appliances on different plugs as well. The push and pull design to release the relevant pin you want works extremely well and doesn't feel cheap and flimsey at all. Although compact in design, it is still quite a hefty lump of plastic to carry round and this should be taken into account, i.e. it will not comfortably sit in your pocket. The only possible downside I can cite is that I noticed especially in Thailand the plug configuration was only two very thin pins and with the bulk of the rest of the plug plus something plugged into it, it did have a tendency to slip out of the socket with the weight, but as long as it wasn't knocked it would usually be fine. So on this note some of the older designs which pulled apart to reveal the section you needed would perform better.
