When this analysis shows that the power supply is correct, the UPS output is taken directly from the input. On the other hand, when operating under battery power, a perfectly sinusoidal waveform output is generated, with the same amplitude and frequency as the power supply. The energy needed for operation in an emergency, is stored in a set of accumulators inside the equipment, which are kept in a charged condition by the UPS, completely automatically. Being hermetically sealed, the batteries do not require any scheduled or unscheduled maintenance during their service life.
