An outstanding feature of the MicroDowell "B-Box Enterprise" UPS line, is a constant, detailed analysis of the mains power supply. When this analysis shows that the power supply is correct, the UPS output is taken directly from the input. On the other hand, when operating under battery power, a perfectly sinusoidal waveform output is generated, with the same amplitude and frequency as the power supply. The energy needed for operation in an emergency, is stored in a set of accumulators inside the equipment, which are kept in a charged condition by the UPS, completely automatically. Being hermetically sealed, the batteries do not require any scheduled or unscheduled maintenance during their service life.
