... came across skype quite by accident. I was clearance shopping when I came across a skype phone on clearance. As it was only $5.00 I got it because it also included $10.00 skype credit with it. Well I was soon to find out why that phone was on clearance it quit working the 2nd time I used it. The phone may have quit but Skype is still going in my home. Skype ... everyone knows, Skype is a useful program for making voice over IP calls over the internet. Calling skype to skype is free, however calling a phone line, one has to pay. I ve been using Skype for several years and generally find it an invaluable piece of software, especially in recent years with the introduction of netbooks and the increasing use of wifi. Only a select few of my friends have Skype installed on their computer so a lot of the time I m using it to call international numbers. Skype ... used Skype for around 3 months this year and found it to be both very user friendly and incredibly unreliable. So much so that I stopped using it. I use Voice over IP communications for chatting with friends around the world, and Skype was used for a period when I was only talking with a couple of friends in Northern Ireland. We chose Skype because it is very easy to install and set up. You go to the Skype Website and just follow all the links to install the software. It takes about 2-3 minutes, and you are ready to go.
