I got my first home computer just over a year ago, it was totally awesome, I could use a computer in my room for the first time ever. We eventually bought an AOL broadband account (what a big regret that was), and I was finally on the net. I knew nothing about firewalls or anti-virus, so I went without internet security for about a week, BIG mistake. Eventually my computer slowed down, and then I couldn't even establish an internet connection.

Soon that all changed, we changed ISP. Someone formatted my hard drive for me to rid my PC of AOL forever. Then as soon as our new package arrived, I was browsing the internet with no problems, but after a while it slowed down again because of no firewall or antivirus. I downloaded a free antivirus program (AVG) and a free firewall (zone alarm), things soon changed, my PC ran better than ever. But then more problems occured, I was told by my ISP tech support that I would most likely have "spyware" on my machine.

This is when I downloaded ad-aware.

And I just wanna say, on behalf of everyone who uses it, this program is indeed a blessing to our addictive computers. So thanks to Lavasoft for making this wizard.

Everyone download ad-aware, it's amazing. It stops your PC slowing down and makes it run a hell of a lot better.
