Client Agent for ARCserveIT, ARCserve/Open 2.0a and above ... the Client Agents, the network administrator can initiate backup or restore operations to protect the data on machines throughout the network, all from a central console. ARCserveIT can backup and restore UNIX workstations using the Client Agent for SCO UNIXWare. All operations occur in the background. Attribute information, as well as permission and ownership is preserved. The data on the UNIX machine is backed up to ARCserveIT on a NetWare server using TCP/IP.
