The Genecyst is the best emulator I have come across because it has a full screen, great sound and image quality, and if you press space you get a menu with everything you need. You can use the menu to save your game, to configure joystick/joypad/keyboard, to select resolution and much more. Personally I use a 4-button joypad, similar to the Mega-Drive's controllers. The Genecyst allowsyou to choose which buttons to press for A, B, C and START which is useful.

The Genecyst literally takes hardly any time to download, just a few minutes, and the games are quicker. Both take up hardly any space, I predict a Genecyst and 150 games would take up many times less space than a basic PC game.
