MetaFrame Future Release 1 ... customers with updated MetaFrame features, and will be provided approximately 2-3 times per year. A MetaFrame Platform Release provides the underlying architecture for new features, and will be provided approximately every 18-24 months. Citrix's product delivery strategy applies to MetaFrame for Windows and MetaFrame for UNIX server products. Feature Release 1 provides a more satisfying user experience, improved performance and stronger security through encryption and authentication.
