Multiple E-Port Connectivity ... switch to switch (E-Port) connections for seamless integration with other Fibre Channel SAN switches. In its base configuration only one of the ports on the SAN Switch 8-EL can be configured as an E-Port. The Multiple E-port Connectivity enables the remaining seven ports on the switch to be configured as E-ports.
