Neo Geo The Neo Geo is a hand held games system much like Nintendo's Gameboy. The machine itself is more powerful than Nintendo's current offering and the picture has more definition and is brighter. Unfortunately you still need a good deal of light to be able to see the screen at its best which is unfortunate. That aside it does look good. You hold it horizontally like Sega's old Gamegear, although it is a lot smaller and it has two main buttons for in game control, plus a d-pad (directional pad and an options and power button. The sound is good too, with decent volume. Battery life is very impressive with 40ish hours play coming from two AA batteries. A nice feature of the Neo Geo is that you can connect it to a Dreamcast to play sub-games from Dreamcast games and you can also link two together for head to head action - no infrared though, shame. There are about 30 games about now, including a classic conversion of Pacman, which is great and a perfect copy of Sonic the Hedgehog which is really quick and great fun. The machine comes in at about £60 and games are £25. It's well worth buying, I prefer mine to the Gameboy.
