I must admit to not being overly sure what most of this program actually does. I wouldn't regard myself as a computer expert but nor am I a beginner.

The basic idea is that your computer can be slowed down by redundant files, cache entries, cookies etc etc. That's where Cleansweep comes in. You can clear out all unwanted temporary files and files that are no longer needed, perhaps by an uninstalled application, with the click of the mouse. it sounds like a good idea in principle but in reality is isn't that easy. I have run most of the options on here and I can't see my system noticeably running any faster.

There are a whole wealth of options here but most of them I would doubt if a) you knew what they did & b) if you would want to use them.

The uninstaller is the best bit of the program. It monitors your system in the background and leaps into action if you install a plug in from the web or install a new piece of software. It then ensures it is being installed correctly & ensures all aspects of the program are removed if you decide to uninstall it.

Overall, I'm not sure that there is enough here to justify the £20 price tag. I think if you looked hard enough, you could download something just as or even more effective free from the web.
