Disadvantages: slows your computer down and can also remove stuff that is important

I would have to agree with a lot of what boredindunoon has already said they stuff on Norton. Norton has many different products out like the all in one anti virus malware and now tune up services.

its ment to stop virus and other stuff that it does indeed do but also slows you computer down quite a lot. It has far too many things running in the background and takes far too long for updates and doing scans on your system.

They are indeed others that are free and can buy upgraded versions that work a lot faster and don't cause any problems to your system..

The last time i had Norton on my system was a good few years back and wouldn't use it again as i had to take my system to the computer shop for it to be repaid and have everything fixed on it. Things might of been updated on Norton now but since last time i used it i wont use it again.. Everyone has there own taste for different programs to protect your system for viruses but most do the same thing others cause problems just like Norton did for me and many other people.
