Optical Server

Optical Server ... appear as a large hard drive. Any Windows NT application can store and retrieve data in a jukebox without modification to the application or any programming effort. Optical Server enables virtual volumes contained in a jukebox to be accessed and shared over a Local Area Network (LAN) by a variety of clients. Optical Server is ideal for applications that generate large files such as imaging, document management, multimedia, and archive applications. Administrators can manage the jukebox and the virtual disks using a Graphical User Interface (GUI).
