Powerquest SecondChance 2.0 ... simple and reliable way to undo the effects caused by a system crash, application conflict, user error and other system problems. By automatically or manually monitoring every change on your system, SecondChance provides you the fastest and most effective way to roll back your computer to a safe state in time, taking you back to where you want to be.

SecondChance runs in the system tray and continually monitors changes to all files in any drives or folders that you select. The data that is recorded can be used to either restore individual files, versions of files, or to restore the entire system back to the way it was at a previous checkpoint. SecondChance's Windows 95 and 98 graphical user interface presents you with three main functions on the primary control screen: "Restore" drives, take a new "Checkpoint", and "View" drives as they were at the time a checkpoint was taken. The "View" feature can be used to restore files that existed at the time a checkpoint was created, even if the file has been changed or deleted.
