Winzip is compresion software that reduces files in size. This has helped made the internet what it is today as it have enabled large files which normally couldn't be transfered over the net due to thier large size, be made smaller an therefore faster to download/upload.

There are other zip programs on the net, but winzip is the best by far. It is intreates its self when you install it. Zippiung a files is a simple as right clicking on a files and choosing add to zip. It is a very easy porgram to use, and a must it you use the internet.
