	EDF Energy ... to migrate to them a couple of months ago.. totally incompetent from start to finish. First they phoned me telling me there were two meters (one is unused) and I told them which one I used. It turns out they did exactly the wrong thing and unless I migrate both meters my current supplier won t allow the migration to go ahead.. EDF should have known this as it s not exactly unusual to have multiple meters. 2 weeks later I got a letter congratulating me on moving to EDF and asking for my gas meter reading - I politely phoned them and pointed out that the gas meter was outside and only they had the key. 	Southern Electric ... have experienced several providers, ie nPower, Scottish Power, Southern Electricity and British Gas; without a doubt Southern Electric have been the best. The change over process from another provider was quick and easy; they organised everything, read my meter and within a month i had a new account set up with no problems. I found their communications through this time concise and they did not overload me with non-environment friendly paperwork. The bills i recieve are well presented, are clear if the reading is estimated or actual, breakdown the costs well and also explain these simply. 	British Gas ... I was younger , I used to work for a company called the Cobra Group . We were salespeaple, hired by energy companies, mobile phone networks, and kitchen companies to go door to door, setting people up with contracts, encouraging them to get a quote, or trying to get them to change energy provider to NPower . We had a pretty strict code of conduct - for instance, for anyone over 75 who wished to change over to Npower, we had to have someone else sign it, preferably a relative, to say that the person changing contract was of sound mind .
