manonfireuk Scottish Power: ... ve read a lot of negative reviews about Scottish Power on this site, this maybe one of the few good reviews! We moved to Scottish Power to escape the clutches of NPower. Npower charged us for power we hadn t used and messed up our bill when we did pay and so compared to NPower, Scottish Power are a dream! We were actually approached by a door-to-door salesman. I don t usually even bother opening the door to door...

Disgusted+Scot Scottish Power
... switched to a Scottish Power online tarriff 3 months ago after receiving a sales call from them. They asked what I paid for my current gas and electricity and when I told them the sales person told me they could supply for £30 a month less. As I thought it strange that they could work out so quickly how much electricity I used only by the monthly payments I was making, I asked what the catch was and was told that everything was above board and they were just cheaper. Reality - After just two payments of my D/Debit I was asked to enter my latest meter readings into my account online. Surprise surprise, I received an email stating my D/Debit payment would have to be incre...

vickygay21 Southern Electric
... have had constant dealing with Southern Electricity for over 5 years now and i would have to say they are in my opinion the best provider that there is at the moment. Although some times it has taken a short while to get through to some one after the small wait the advisors that i speak to are always so polite and helpfull. I have not had many problems at all with them and when i have done they have been sorted out almost instantly and i have then been offered and advised of other things that may help me. They have been so helpful to me over the years and i have bragged to friends and family of the standard that they seem to have and maintain. I came over to them from b...

Tony EDF Energy
... to migrate to them a couple of months ago.. totally incompetent from start to finish. First they phoned me telling me there were two meters (one is unused) and I told them which one I used. It turns out they did exactly the wrong thing and unless I migrate both meters my current supplier won t allow the migration to go ahead.. EDF should have known this as it s not exactly unusual to have multiple meters. 2 weeks later I got a letter congratulating me on moving to EDF and asking for my gas meter reading - I politely phoned them and pointed out that the gas meter was outside and only they had the key. A day later EON told me they d blocked the migration.. somethi...
