Advantages: you do get gas and electric

Disadvantages: you pay more than anywhere else in the world

I moved house in September 2006, today I receive a letter from a recovery agency for an unpaid electric bill in excess of over £500.00. I notified British Gas when I moved I have been put through to call centres all over the world, I have never received this bill from British Gas yet now they attempt to damage my credit rating. They are a bunch of incompetent bullies they are so interested in profit they walk all over their customers, the service you receive is diabolical. With the profit margins they are making why are there call centres based overseas? We have to pay to phone these centres where the operators english is very poor and we have to pay twice or thrice as much to do something overseas which could be dealt with in a matter of minutes if there was no language barrier. How can it take 19 months to forward a bill to a known address, this company should be heavily fined for the distress is causes people and for its complete lack of competence, change companies dont support this fat cat companies who are only interested in their shareholders. If we dont use them they cant continue to treat people like this. Vikki
