Advantages: convenient, effortless and cheap!

Disadvantages: having to have an oil tank in the garden...

johnston oils were my supplier while i was living in fife (though I think they might be based in Aberdeen). i used them initially because they were the only company that could deliver at short notice, but after constantly running short they sold me a signalman - some contraption that sat on top of my tank and looked after my fuel for me. really useful and saved me from getting cold every winter! they had a budget plan as well so i didn't have massive bills to pay in winter...

Summary: convenient and ideal if your forgetful!
