North West Water

As I write this North West water are drilling and hammering outside my house.They are changing the old lead water pipes for the newer plastic ones and I believe they are doing the whole area. I personaly had mine done 6mths ago and they charged me £350 now they are doing it at a special rate of £250 but thats beside the point. We have had no water for the past 2 Fridays from 8am till 1pm and then yesterday(Tuesday)we had to have the water cut off from 8am till 7pm.I think it is totally outragous for the water board to expect people to go 11 hours without water.It meant we couldn't fulsh the toilet,do any washing or even cook anything that needed water,we ...  Read the complete review

Not for the first time, I've had a letter from North West Water "inviting" me to pay good money for their insurance scheme against burst pipes et al. The headline in the letter cites "How would you find a plumber or drainage engineer in an emergency this winter?" Well, what you'll eventually find that there is a period of 30 days where you cannot make a claim.
