NPOWER - I would never EVER recommend NPOWER, they use underhand tactics to screw you. Once they have had 12 months with you at the agreed rate, without proper notice they then incease tariff by 60+% and then block any requested to transfer to a cheaper supplier. Debt collectors are round in days if or when you refuse to pay the inflated bill. They are totally intransigent on the phone and have no care for customer relations. I have spoken to others about NPower, and everyone has had problems, eg overcharging, threatening behaviour, prepaid card meter problems - charging in addition to amount prepaid.
AVOID NPOWER AT ALL COSTS!!!
