Advantages: Hmmmmmm let me think!!
Disadvantages: You'll get robbed!
It seems that im not the only one that is being ripped off by npower!
After being with them for over a year and then moving house I have managed to over pay them nearly two hundred pounds (due to them over estimating my consumption) with no prospect of getting any money back. Been trying for six months. All meters readings lost!!! rather convient for them!
This company should be done for robbery without the violence!!
Summary: dont touch with a cattle prod!

- 31/08/07 Yes, bit thin on the ground for a review, so have followed the pack with somewhat useful. Although in all honesty whenever i see any backlash regarding utility companies npower usually appear to be the arch felons of the leccy industry and british gas for well .. gas.
I had a spat with npower 2 years ago now, they had a time when they used agressive sales tactics on their commission only sales teams, gained entry to my block of flats via a security intercom stating they were from the gas board, went round in two's and when confronted by me, laughed in my face as if to say, what you gonna do about it?
Put it this way, i wasn't taking that so i contacted my social landlord who wrote to them (after being fobbed off on the phone) and got through via the post. i got a letter of apology for their 'conduct' usual crap about maintaining high standards and they dont usually act this way (oh no?).
Well sod me, six months later one day , tap on the door, 2 more npower, the first words out of the mouth of the elder of the two idiots was 'don't worry we're not burglars' i told him to wait, fished the letter out of my file from NP, the guy read it, turned white and fled with his trainee hon on his heels, so they had the gaul to do it not once but twice.
Agressi ve and condescending sales tactics, would never have them personally and given the bad press they've had over the years on watchdog and other programs, best avoided i'd say. |

- 30/08/07 Yes hello and welcome to dooyoo I can feel your frustration with this company . if its a real problem ask citizens advice what you can do about it .
Now read lots of other peoples reviews on here to getr a better idea what this site is about and how much and what info to write in a review , All the best Mary |
