Quick change to my review, no improvements regarding NPower, who are now telling me the whole thing is due to a computer error which singled out my account to pick on. They did give me a freephone number which I feel I should share, this is 0800 107 0394.
I took over the tenancy of a property supplied by NPower on 15/10/2007 & provided them with my details and meter readings at this time.
I then received a bill addressed to the previous tenant, so I contacted them to inform them yet again that I was now occupying the property.
This has been going on from then, until now, and is still not resolved.
I have spent over 20 hours on the phone and been informed that they're 'having trouble generating an account number', they have no idea how long this will take, but yes it could be another 6 months!!!
They promised to contact me today with a date I could expect a resolution, instead they contacted me using the previous tenants name (more than once in spite of being corrected), repeated the same garbage I've been hearing from day one, and called me a liar when I said I had been promised that they would provide a resolution date today.
WORST COMPANY EVER!
