Icompetent. Terrible customer service. High rates on Economy 7 tarrif (NPower)

Advantages: None.... ABSOLUTELY NONE Disadvantages: you name it Npower are possibly even more hopeless than B G at getting simple matters sorted out. First they chose to - incorrectly - estimate my opening meter readings - in spite of the fact that I tried 4 times to give them my correct readings, over the web and via phone. They then took my correct readings in Feb and told me they would sort things out in 28 days. I rang them 6 weeks later and was told the reading dispute was "stuck in the system" and that they would raise it again. Another month passes. I ring them again, same explanation. It is know Late May and still the readings have not been sorted out. Not only that, but on the 29th of April the stupid idiots sent B G - my previous supplier - these same incorrect estimates, even though the readings have been in dispute since early Feb. These readings not only conflicted with the closing readings that I gave B G, they also conflicted with my old opening readings with B G causing them to resurrect their old incorrect opening readings, that took me 6 months to get them to correct throughout last year - Yes I know B G also screwed up the opening reading estimates, even though they rang me 2 days before I switched to them asking for the actual readings. So now I am not only trying to get Npower to correct their incorrect low opening readings to my correct higher opening readings and low usage readings, but am having to deal with the almost equally incompetent B G again- after spending 6 months trying to sort out their mess up through out last year- as they have concocted a new bill combining their resurrected incorrect opening with npowers incorrect closing readings. What really rubbed salt in the wound was that when I tried to explain this muddled screw up to some turd at their higher complaints department he kept on cutting me off and totally misunderstood me. Their prices are also extremely high - I have just calculated that in order to make any savings on their economy seven tarriff I would need to use at least 1/3 of my electricity between the hours of 1am and 8am as their E7 Day rate is so extortionate. Stay away at all costs. Summary: Even worse than British Gas, who you should also stay away from |
