After moving to n power fron british gas after being promised that they would be 25% cheaper, i was disappointed.

The move was swiftly done, but i suddenly found out i was paying more than i was on british gas, i used to put in five pounds into my prepayment meter a week but now it was using eight pounds. I rang npower and after 40 minutes on hold, i got a helpful man who after i explained told me someone would come and read my meter and turn down the meter.

Fair enough you might say but a week later when i was out i had a letter saying my meter was read today, so i brought my usual 5 pounds of electric, three days later it had gone.

I rang n power again and they told me sorry the meter is sey right so we are not turning it down, even thought i had been promised my bills be 25% cheaper not more expensive.

so last week i rang british gas im moving to them in a month and im being sent in writing that i will be paying less.

Summary: do not use them
