Disadvantages: no review after 12 month and a big debt

After 12 months of being with npower for I got my first bill which showed that I was in debt to the tune of £262 which is the saving I should have got by changing from my old supplier. Npower then informed me that my direct debit was to change from £67 a month to £135 a month cover my debt and the fuel that I would be using. After calling customer services and speaking to a manager about the situation there was no help offered just the fact that they could not allow me to drop the amount as it would get me into debt, which was exactly what they had done in the first place with their offer of cheap fuel, which turns out to be the same as all the rest so please do not change to npower as I am sure you will regret it as I have. I have now found a new supplier and say goodbye to npower for good.

Summary: i ended up with a big debt and bad customer service dont go to npower
