When we moved to our current house the previous owners got their electricity from MEB. Our previous supplier in our last home was Energi so when we moved in we checked out prices and found out that we could get the electricity and the gas cheaper than with either of these firms. To check out prices we used a website www.buy.co.uk since then I have regularly used this site to check prices and have changed as and when I have found a better deal.

However back to MEB. When we cancelled them as our supplier we seemed to get bombarded with door to door salespeople trying to sell us their supply, in two weeks alone we had 3 reps!

Some said they were from MEB and some said Npower which I believe is their other name.

Each time I explained that we werent interested and asked them to make sure that they informed their office that we did not want any more calls from them. Finally I had one rep who would not take no for an answer and rang our door bell three times until in the end my husband had to be rude to him.

I emailed their office and received no apology, finally the visits seemed to have stopped. After all the messing around I think even if they were cheap I wouldn’t bother with them.
