Advantages: Cheap, Good service
Disadvantages: None
I have recently chaged over my electric suppliers from Eastern Energy to Npower. I am really glad that I've changed over, my bills are easily £10 a quarter cheaper than before. I pay a certain amount by card every month at the post office, but if I pay by direct debit I would save a further 3% off my bill. Whenever I phone up the customer services, I have always found them to be helpful and polite, you can also contact them via their website at www.npower.com. I have recently heard a lot of complaints about them in the media, but as far as I am concerned I have never had any problems with them. When you first change over to them, they send you a free welcome to npower booklet, which explains all the different ways you can pay your bill, how to read your meter whether its a dial or digital one, they also tell you what to do, and who to phone in an emergency, such as a gas leak or loss of electricity. They are committed to energy efficiency, and have a special helpline, which can give you advice on everything from lighting, electrical appliances, tariffs and heating to insulation, meters and daught-proofing and grants. They also do gas as well as elecricity, so instead of getting 2 bills you receive just one. I think I'll probably change my gas over to them next quarter, and make it easier by only having one card instead of two at the moment.

- 31/12/06 Well done on getting through to customer services. Most of the time they let you hold for half an hour and then say they'll call you back.
Oh, I forgot, you're a plant. Fuck you. |
