This is not a review of their rates or products but of my personal experience with this company.

After 2 years with British Gas we changed to Scottish Power when we discovered they were cheaper. The change over went fine and we were pleased. We had a couple of meter readings that we thought were more expensive to what we would use. I contacted Scottish Power and was passed from pillar to post until I could finally speak to someone about my complaint. They put a query on my account and was told someone would come out, then someone would be in contact with me about it. A week later I recieved a letter stating that nothing was wrong with my meters and we owed them money. I again called up, got passed around and was finally told the matter had been sorted and I had to pay. Not listening to a word I had to say.
It was then that I contacted British Gas once more to move back, they gave me a date of the switch over and we thought it was all sorted. The day after the switch over, we discovered Scottish Power were still supplying our gas and electricity. It in total took they 8 weeks to change us over. It has now been a year since we moved back to British Gas and have never had a bill like that since!
