Does this company actually know the meaning of keeping the customer satisfied with the service provided?? I guess not. We have been with the company since February of this year and decided recently that given the state of the ecomomy we would transfer to Pre-payment meters then we don't get hit with huge bills in the new year.
I knew that there would be a debt to be cleared and so made an arrangement for them to take an amount off every week until it was cleared. They said that was fine and for my electric they have been doing as they said, however for my gas they are now taking the amount everytime I put money into it so my outlay for gas has quadrupled. I rang and asked that they stop this and take only what they agreed but I was told they are not at fault as I can not prove it. My problem is that they take an amount when I put my card in and then continue to take off more over the following days so short of watching my gas meter every day I really can't see what they are actually taking. Iasked then that instead of taking it from the meter that they send a bill and I will pay it that way. They said no.
Then I spent all weekend with no electric, granted due to bad weather but when I asked if they could tell me how long they said they couldn't as the engineers were reluctant to go out in the rain. This I wouldn't mind but they told me that I should take my young daughter to stay with a relative if I was so concerned about not having any power. Why is it ok for me and my daughter to get soaked but not the engineers? Double standards????
Anyway this is the latest in a long line of problems which also includes me asking to speak with a supervisor and being told that the operator would not transfer my call because she did not think I had the right.
So, all in all I would advise that you look around before joining them and if you are with them re-assess your supply and see if you can't be offered a better deal.
Summary: Avoid Them At All Costs
