Disadvantages: Worst Customer Service ever, Unjustified Direct Debit Increases
Absolute worst energy supplier ever with no focus on real customer service whatsoever! Couldn't agree more with the other comments that their customer service is shockingly bad as you spend at least 15-30 mins each call trying to get through to them and then as one reviewer rightly says, the call sometimes hangs up! The initial pull for me was that their tariffs were cheaper but then they increase the direct debit as they deem necessary and when you try to discuss with them ( if you are that lucky to actually speak to someone) it becomes an argument to negotiate on any massive increase they have imposed. After spending nearly 2 years with this nonce of a company, I've gone back to my last energy supplier, where the customer waiting time is less than 5 mins each call, their tariffs are now cheaper and they do a forecast calculation on consumption every 6 months as opposed to every quarter with SP. When SP received news that I was going, they started to badger me with calls at home in the evening, desperately asking me if they is anything they could do to hold onto me as a customer...Not on your nelly, matey...You suck as a company with appallingly bad customer service. Do not go to there!
