I have just come off the phone with Scottish power what a waste of time, very abrupt and certainley dont want to listen to a word you say regarding your problem. It started Saturday we had just got back from a lovely holiday to be confronted by one of there letters asking us to pay £143 for gas & electric for a house we have not lived in since August last year, but gave up the keys to the estate agent in early october. The money they said was owing was for the 06-01-2009 to 22-01-2009 hello wait for this we were with EDF energy yes EDF energy and we have been living in our new house since august 2008 but they just wouldnt listen to what we had to say, there had even been direct debits payed off on the account but not by us, so i asked them to give me the name of the account owner to which they replied i cannot divulge that information to you, i said you are saying its our account but wont give me that information thats telling me theres something not quite right wouldnt you all agree. They said they will send us a revised bill i suppose that will be £243????? total idiots. I have been in business myself and you are allways best advised to listen to what the cutomer has to say first but they dont know the meaning of the word and should be brought to book, and have some thought for the customer under difficult circumstances. We are now awaiting the outcome of this stupid problem, but be warned if you are looking for a supplier please stay away you have been warned again. P.S. I have had numerous problems too many to mention.

Summary: The people who are in charge of this company need to worry about its future its not good

These utilities companies all seem as bad as each other, this particular problem you mention is just so laughable but obviously not for you. Maybe you should contact your local Citizens Advice Bureau or even the local paper to show them up for the morons they are!
