Scottsih power send debt collection even after we pay them! (Scottish Power)

Scottish power...not much better than a bunch of criminals....
started to try to move in January as they just kept putting up DD even when we spent half year in credit...so we signed up with EDF..only to be refused a move by SP?
then they let us move the electric in March but still refused the gas?
then we start to get bills for electric and gas even though we had moved at least leccy to EDF?

Confused...well after a lot of digging we found that they have the wrong meter number for our house..they have the plot number not the house number...and so the problems begin

We have had debt collector letters, bills for amounts that differ by £700, even when we have been on a complaint they randomly take it off and start proceedings again

so we start a complaint with Offgen...start to get things resolved, luckily I managed to record most of my calls to them as the lying thieving poeple then start to charge the right meter and 'lose' all the payments we have sent so another debt collector letter, even though we are on an official complaint with offgen

As head of customer service myself I know how to treat a customer and its not the way they do!

I am up to 15 hours of phone calls, not to mention the letters etc, and once we get the offgen letter back (we have had one but disputed some facts as they managed to mess up the gas side again!) will be looking to take civil action against them

how to they get so many customers when all they do is lie and cheat? I would never ever ever recommend any one using them

and still they deny there is a problem with the empan reg on our estate even though know of 5 other houses in dispute with them, although some people just elect to stay and pay as it is less hassle and they were scared of the threat of legal action and debt collection..how can they be such bullies and get away with it?

please if there is one thought in your mind about moving...do not move to scottish power, they are bullies and cowards and I cant wait to get to court with them!
