We have been with Scottish Power for about a year and thus far I cannot fault the service received or the price of our power & gas supply.

We switched over to Scottish Power from E.ON after comparing the prices of all the available tariffs across the market and adding up the respective costs for our energy consumption. The online Scottish Power tariff came out significantly cheaper than all other alternatives. On top of this, we also managed to sign up to the tariff through TopCashBack, generating a neat £100 return just for switching provider which was particularly pleasing.

The cashback claim went through smoothly and we have since received the money into our bank account. The online tariff has also proved to be very good indeed. You are able to submit your own readings as frequently or rarely as you choose and I try to do mine at least once a month for monitoring purposes. The direct debit constantly adjusts up or down depending on whether you are generally using more or less than the amount you are paying which is also a useful feature.

Moreover, there are numerous online facilities allowing you to monitor your energy consumption through the values you submit, giving you month on month graphics, payment amounts across time and therefore the ability to forecast what your consumption will look like going forward as well as noticing how it is changing over time.

Given that this is the cheapest tariff for us out of all the ones that are available, I am extremely pleased with what we've got.
