I never really thought of there being an upside to electricity provision: the provider just stuffs power down the wire and bills you for it. ScottishPower are my provider more or less by default, but when they offered me the opportunity of managing my account on-line, all thought of switching providers went straight out the window when I saw how well the service worked.

Once configured, all you need to do is enter a meter reading at least once every three months, and your bill is generated instantly, with all the detail contained on a normal printed bill. Your direct debit is tweaked every so often to keep your balance as close to zero as possible, and you never get another bit of paper through the post again (apart from the odd bit of marketing material).

Customer service is excellent as well: despite our rural location, power problems are always dealt with quickly, and any compensation issues are resolved just as efficiently.

Sorry about the SU, but you don't realy tell us that much. Things like your experiances with them like bills, contacting them etc...

Hope this helps, if you re-write this I'll be happy to re-rate it.
