I really must apologise that this is a long review but its hard to get past the scientifics when reviewing premium quality consumables to keep vacuums and their components lasting longer. In the early 1990 s when Miele had a compact line up of cylinder vacuums they had simultaneously launched the self sealing disposable paper dust bag that meant owners did not have to face the seeping dirt once bags were taken out of the vacuum cleaner. 	Miele Flexhose SFS10 ... any other large clump of dust can get clogged at the entrances. Additionally with any time depending on the cleaning task, if the hose keeps clogging you spend more time having to take it apart and cleaning it out. Then there s the size; 6 metres of extra hose, enough to bang off painted doors and create more floor mess for you to clean up after. This is a long review, but handy if you own a Miele As far as I m concerned however, Miele have once again come up trumps with their extra cleaning accessories and this time it s a novel attachment which fits onto Miele s cylinder vacuum cleaners. 	Miele SBD 550-3 ... it came to buying my larger Miele vacuum cleaner (S571) which itself had been second hand and a little long the tooth, I put up with the larger floor head it came with largely because Miele had stopped production of it and had an older style of hook on the back of it to slide into the park positions of the vacuum cleaner body when not in use. That larger floor head had a unique design that also pushes itself up and down slightly as well as being like all other floor heads where they turn on a 360º axis. My S4 cylinder vacuum however sported a brand new 12" floor head that does its job reasonably well even though it is much smaller by its main diameter and easier...
