Dyson DC24 The Ball ... have had this for 6 months and i still love it! Size is everything and Its telescopic handle is great and its compact size means it can be easily stored - its perfect for my one bedroom flat. Its also very light, at just over 5 kilos it is easy to carry and I would recommend it for the elderly or disabled as its easy to move around. In fact my gran has one for upstairs and she thinks its marvelous. The ball system does exactly what is says on the advert, it makes moving around the sofa and coffee table a doddle and the actual motor is hidden inside the ball which allows the cleaner to be so compact! the telescopic suction hoze is very durable, however it really cou... Hoover Hurricane HU4177T ... have to say that I hate the Hoover Hurricane and am off to buy something else! Now two weeks out of warranty it has finally given up the ghost. The belt has broken...again and the telescopic handle button has cracked so it can t extend and I am left leaning over the machine. The filters are useless and it overheats on a regular basis. Fluff collects in the front of the machine around the brush and then gets spat out all over the place. The attachments are the worst I have ever used, there are only two of them and both are pretty useless. The tiny brush on the crevice tool is a complete waste of time and broke within two weeks.
