I have just purchased the Bissell Powerwash Upright Deepcleaner for £179.95 from Curry's and it's ace!! Is a bazzin' looking device and very simple to use. It has the appearance of a beefed up Vac, all you do is put hot water in one compartment, the cleaning fluid in another, select whether you want heavy duty or whatever. Turn it on, and you are away! You depress a trigger in the handle which sparays the cleaning solution evenly over the carpet, you can then leave this for 10 mins if you wish, depending on the muck!
