Bissell Easy Vac ... purchasing loads different vacum cleaners and not having much luck with them i found this fab one at b and q very cheap it is very light weight as i have spinal problems and cannot do heavy lifting. i love the colour blue and its distinct lack of things that can go wrong its easy cleaning tools and ckear container so that you can see wat you are collecting and wen it needs emptying. the foot pedal in red makes it east to distinguish what pedals to switch on and the black for reclining, with it being very light it is easy to manouever aroung the house and very easy to empty with a large grey button at front of the cylinder for easy access, it is east to o... Bissell Easy Vac ... to being a bit of a Dyson snob - HOWEVER I was sufficiently impressed at the amount of dirt/dust which was sucked up in this machine (boy my mother s carpets were either pretty grubby - yeuch, or this is genuinely a nifty wee vac). The only downside I can think of, is the removal of the dirt container which my mother struggled with (her dexterity skills aren t the best), however I found this very easy to remove and dispose of the dirt. In conclusion, I would thoroughly recommend this vac which my mother can easily lift out of her cupboard and quite happily hoover her carpets without humping around a bit brute of a machine. Bissell 8910E ... big box and the only assembly is to screw the tools casing at the back and connect all the hoses. This is quite simple to do. It will clean hard floors, carpet and upholstery. The attachments allow you to clean upholstery and for stubborn stains on the carpet. It has two types of cleaning fluid, one for carpets and one for hard floors. These can be purchased from Argos or direct from the Bissell website. Cleaning fluid costs £13-£15. I find on my carpets this will do three cleans of 30sq metres a time. You will a container with water - this will clean aprox. 10 square metres. You switch it on, leave it to heat up and then away you go. A trigger on the handle...
