I live in an area where you can't park the car outside the building, let alone in electrical cord distance of my home or an electrical socket. But I have a car which gets as dirty and in desperate need of a vacuum as anyone else's.
I also have a damaged wrist so I needed something light enough to take with me on the trek to the car while still being robust enough to do the job. This handheld fits the bill very nicely. It does need a good long charge between uses otherwise it slows down and stops quite quickly. But if you do feed it well and regularly, it won't let you down.
Because it is small, the dirt storage areas is too, but it is also easy to detach from the hand part of the unit and empty. It is also bagless and so cheap to maintain and simple to clean, as I'd expect from a sound appliance brand like Black and Decker.
It is not only useful in cleaning the car. Because you can take it anywhere and use it at pretty much any angle it is great for vacumming those irritating crumbs and going over upholstery and difficult to reach areas without having to get out and assemble the main vacuum.
The rounded cleaning surface and lack of brushes also makes giving stored clothes, even delicate fabrics the quick going over so necessary in keeping them in good condition and uneaten by moths.
I bought this for £29.99 in a sale at Comet, which has proved to be good value, but it is easily available at the mid thirty pound levels at all the usual places on and off-line.
A very handy little machine, which has served me very well.
