Advantages: Picks up all hair, powerful, compact storage

Disadvantages: Slightly heavy

Over the last three years I have had three vacuum cleaners that have stated that they are efficient at picking up animal hair. These were well-known brands and were not the cheapest on the market. They failed to do the job. I bought the Dyson Animal six months ago and think it's an absolutely brilliant machine. I have one dog and two cats (plus I dog-sit for my friends) so my house is constantly covered in pet hair. The Dyson picks up every single hair without having to vacuum the same area over and over again. I can vacuum three rooms, stairs, landing and hall in 20 minutes, leaving the carpeted areas hair-free. I presume it is also picking up fleas, mites, pollen etc so would be useful for people and children with allergies.

It is very powerful and consequently is quite heavy so if you have back problems etc I would not buy this machine, but otherwise it is a must-buy.

It stows away easily (the "wand" slots down telescopically and the hose curls around the machine) and does not take up much space.

I would estimate the noise it emits is average compared to other machines, I have had quieter machines, but also noisier (and less powerful) machines.

Specs:
The machine can currently (on date of posting) be bought from Amazon for £253.98 RRP £299.99).
Extra heads include a turbine head, a mini turbine head, hard floor tool, crevice tool, stair tool and a brush tool for different surfaces and areas (like curtains or laminate flooring).
As is common to Dyson the machine carries the British Allergy Foundation Seal of Approval and does not use bags.
Washable HEPA filter.
The power cord is sufficient to move from one room to another (in an average sized terrace house) but would need unplugging to go further.
A free five year parts and labour guarantee.
1400W motor with 280 airwatts suction (extremely high).

An excellent and well-made, sturdy product, funky design, if slightly heavy.

Summary: Very good machine, far better than other pet hair vacuum cleaners

Welcome to Dooyoo
A good start here. Some more specific info for buyers however could be good here such as:

How much did it cost exactly?
Is it noisy in use?
What's the weight of this machine?
Do you get any smaller cleaning tools with it?
Filtration - washable, HEPA standard or otherwise?
Long power cord?
General durability/quality - worth it for the price you paid?

Adding info isn't compulsory but it could boost your review further sharing your experience. If you update your review please message me.
