Advantages: Powerful effective vaccuming, easy to manouvre, lightweight

Disadvantages: Onboard tools sometimes fall off

I have owned one of these for over a year now. I have had upright vacuum cleaners for many years (Dysons & others), but wanted something more manouverable, easier to lift upstairs & easy to store - this completely fits the bill. Cleaning performance is exceptional as can be clearly seen with debris that ends up in the see through bin! Easy to clean beneath furniture & vacuuming the stairs is easy as it's really light & small enough to sit on stairs whilst cleaning. Empyting bin is easy, clean & fuss free. Storage is neat, with hose wrapped around main body & securely clipped into place. At one point after owning it for 6 months, the turbo head brushes stopped spinning as fast as usual. I contacted Dyson by phone who were really helpful, talked me through cleaning the filters and checking hoses and when that failed sent out a completely new cleaning head (which arrived next day) without any quibble whatsoever & has operated perfectly since
